CBT course

I have just had a call back from the CBT centre and I have booked the CBT course for the weekend of the 26th January. That gives me roughly a week and a half to hire a bike, get it insured, get my provisional class A licence applied for, buy/scrounge a helmet and get gloves and suitable waterproofs sorted out not to mention anything else I have forgotten- plenty of time! Fortunately Shane who did the course recently has given me a few tips on getting all this sorted. Could be an expensive couple of weeks by the looks of it!

Leigh Brookes

Leigh was the last of the group to join the motorcycling fraternity. Rarely the first to leap but not one to be left behind, Leigh has taken the plunge and got himself fully licenced up. He is not what you might think of as a typical biker but you can imagine him pottering through the lanes on a sunny summers day on a 1970s triumph with a tin pot helmet, goggles and a white scarf flying behind him.

  1. You go, girlfriend!!!!

  2. Nothing like giving yourself a deadline to get yourself into action! The only thing you definitely need to buy now is the helmet, if needs be you can borrow the rest.I’d also recommend getting your provisional license sorted tomorrow as you will need that with you to do the CBT, the other stuff should be somewhat easier to get sorted.
