Progress
It has been a little while since I updated you all on my progress. So, with that in mind, I guessed I best get myself sorted and change that.
Where to start?
Well, I have now picked up a bike, in truth this was sorted a little while ago with a large deal of thanks to both Shane and Leigh. Without them who knows if things would have progressed! With a bike sorted of the Bandit variety, the next task on the list was to undertake the CBT or DA, which ever I would require. This conundrum was solved by making a phone call to one the instructors, we ascertained from a chat that I would only require the DA part which greatly reduced the time scale to getting out on the bike. To be truthful, it reduced it from about 9 weeks to 1 week. With that done and out of the way the next stage was required. And that, was to book and take the theory test which I passed Friday just gone (21st November). This was approximately 2 to 3 weeks after my DA, not bad going so far. Now I just have the third and final stage of it to do. You can guess what that is; book the practical test and remember mirrors and shoulder checks (the boys keep telling me off all the time). So to summarise, all in all, progress has been quick! I am glad I am finally getting my license, rather then being a fool and just riding on a provisinal license. The next update on my progress, I hope, will be passing my test. Wish me luck with that!!
